The National Gallery of Arts in Tirana, Albania, presents the 22nd edition of the international Onufri Prize exhibition, titled “Stranger than Kindness – Mitrush Kuteli”. Part of this exhibition are also two special projects, “Cinema” and “Taxi” (the latter originated by Anri Sala’s “No Formula One No Cry –Taxi”).
Inspired by the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds hit, "Stranger than Kindness", this edition of the Onufri Prize is dedicated to the Albanian writer Mitrush Kuteli (1907-1967).

The exhibition is curated by the Albanian artist, Fani Zguro. Zguro was born in 1977 in Tirana; now he lives and works in Berlin. After having completed his studies at the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, he found international fame. Zguro is part of the program Artists-in-residence at Q21, Museumsquartier for 2017 in Vienna. He has exhibited at Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin, National Museum of Contemporary Art Bucharest, Musée des Civilisations de l'Europe et de la Mediterranée Marseille, Filmoteca Espanola Madrid, Docva Careof Milan, 2nd Tirana Biennale, 3rd Mardin Biennale, 4th Young Artists Biennale of Bucharest, Ludwig Museum Budapest, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Rijeka, Public Library New York and Centre Pompidou Paris.
The exhibition is held at the National Gallery of Arts, Tirana, and will be on show until February 1, 2017.
